A mysterious creature was sighted in a local park Tuesday. Could it be the elusive Abominable Snowman…? Closer inspection confirmed that, in fact, it was another relatively rare sight, A black Golden Doodle, or as she prefers to be known, Ziva the Abominable Snowdog…!
The crew were making the most of what was left of the snow in the park today. Digging… and rolling… Licking… and chewing… I did tell them that there was more of the white stuff on the way… Potentially quite a bit… They said that was fine… If it snows it snows… But for now… … More Snow joke…..
It was cold today. Cold enough that some of the pooches were wearing coats. Angus doesn’t mind coats… Sometimes… And sometimes he just needs to take his coat off…regardless of the weather. Today was one of those days… Kira and Benny tried to help him in his quest…. At least I think that is what … More To coat or not to coat……
Reggie experienced his first snow today. It was really interesting to see him come upon the realisation that everything outside was covered with cold, wet, sticky stuff that appeared to be falling from the sky. After some initial bravado, a bit of an explore (and his normal ablutions) the actual scale of this icy ‘intruder’ … More Out of the mouths of babes…..
Pete intimated today that this snow stuff is his favorite cold weather stuff to run around in…..even though it can get everywhere if you’re not careful…! Indeed he thinks it can’t be licked…no matter how much effort he puts in…!
Boris loves being in the great outdoors and has an affinity with nature; he loves to feel at one with the planet. Sometimes he can take this to extremes…. Nice stalactite Boris…!
Just as the Thursday Poochwalkers were returning to the Poochmobile, following a successful romp on a typical Alberta summer morning (enjoying the snow/slush/puddles/mud/fallen tree branches and even some grass) I was approached by a lady who had been looking my way for a while; “What a lovely pack…!” she said. Wanting to be sure I asked … More Feelgood Factor
“S” is for Snow. “S” is for September. “S” is for shouldn’t. Both words SHOULDN’T be in the same sentence… The pooches all enjoyed it though…!
The same area, three days apart. Bob Dylan may just have had something after all.
